Children of eligible affiliated employees may qualify for Lab tuition remission. If your child currently receives the 50% tuition remission benefit you do not need to re-apply. University of Chicago employees currently receiving the enhanced University remission for the 2017-18 must re-apply for each child or you will receive only 50% remission.

Tuition Payment via Payroll Deduction
University Payroll Deduction is available to employees of the University of Chicago and University of Chicago Medicine/Hospital.
Participants elect to deduct Lab tuition payments directly from their paychecks. The net tuition obligation is normally deducted over 9 monthly pay periods or 18 biweekly pay periods between September 29 and May 31.
The Payroll Deduction Election is valid for only one academic year; those who wish to continue their payroll deductions must re-enroll each year. The Payroll Deduction Form must be submitted no later than July 17 to be effective for the upcoming academic year.
Those who enroll in Payroll Deduction will NOT receive monthly tuition EBill statements from the Bursar.
